Maisa’a Hanbali is a Co-Founder of the Non-Profit Keene Community Music Center, launched it’s Summer Violin Chamber Music Boot Camp, launched and co-conducted Community Orchestra Of Keene, serves on it’s Board of Directors and continues to be a Violin teacher and Chamber Music Instructor at KCMC using a mix of Russian, European and American Music School Methods.
Was a Violin and Music Teacher at The Waldorf School in Keene and at Keene Institute of Music and Related Arts.
Participated in The Playing for Peace Program at Apple Hill Chamber Music Camp, also played with many Orchestras/Operas in the Keene, Peterborough, and Brattleboro area and with The Keene State College Orchestra.
Maisa’a performed and did many Master Classes in music & violin in USA, France, Italy, Spain, England, Algeria, Lebanon and Syria.
Prior to coming to the U.S., was a soloist and first violinist at The International Symphonic Orchestra and Damascus Chamber Orchestra. She was a Professor of Orchestration at the Conservatory/High Institute of Music and taught violin at The Music Center in Damascus, Syria.
