Faith Miller has been teaching private violin and viola students at KCMC since early 2016. Most well-versed in in-person instruction, she jumped onto the virtual lesson train served up in 2020, and offers that option to her students, as well. Additionally, Faith spearheads the semi-annual chamber music play-in sessions for adult amateurs, and also has coordinated the youth chamber music program. She served for four years on KCMC’s Board of Directors.
Prior to relocating to Keene, Faith was long-time chair of the Music Department at the Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, CT. She directed the school’s orchestra and also the thriving chamber music program; she taught courses in music theory, history of Western music, introductory studies in world music, and violin and viola students. Faith founded and performed with the Island Chamber Musicians, a roster of Hartford professional chamber musicians. Continuing to this day, Faith created and directs Suite Occasions, a small business providing chamber music for special events around New England.
