A native to Keene, Kathleen attended Keene State College and The Conservatory of Music and the Arts. She
has studied with Marion Howell, Grace Buteau, David Hewlett, (former president of the New York American Guild
of Organists), Marshall Bush, David Morse and “world-renown” organist, Thomas Hazleton. She is a member of
the American Theatre Organ Society, the Organ Historical Society, and the American Guild of Organists (AGO).
She served as Sub-dean of the AGO, Monadnock Chapter in Keene, NH from 2001 to 2003.

She has been Organist and Music Director for St. Bernard Church in Keene, NH for (37) years as well as
Organist and Choir Director of St. Margaret Mary in Keene; St. Anthony and St. Stephen churches in Swanzey;
and St. Margaret Mary's Chapel in Chesterfield. She has filled in as organist for the Lutheran Church in Keene
and is in constant demand to play for weddings and funerals in the Monadnock Region.
While in high school, Kathleen was a piano and organ demonstrator for Al Ouellette’s Hammond Organ Store in
Manchester, NH traveling to various functions around the state. She was Manager of Buteau’s House of Music in
Keene for eight years and taught organ classes for Buteau’s in both their Keene store and Massachusetts store.
She has taught private Organ, Piano, and Keyboard lessons in the Keene, NH area for (35) years, including
music classes for the Keene High School Adult Community Education Program. She has also performed for many
different functions in the Community and NH, both in Popular and Classical music.
She was nominated for Outstanding Young Woman of the Year in New Hampshire, 1976.
